Here are the results of the Elections held during the AFIIA Annual General Meeting on 25th May 2023.
The following Officers have been duly elected to the AFIIA Governing Council for the period 2023-2025:
- Chairman: Mrs. Ruth Doreen Mutebe – Uganda
- Executive Secretary: Ms. Zelia Njeza – Tanzania
- Treasurer: Ms. Thokozile Kuwali – Malawi
- Vice Chairman: Central Africa: Mr. Thany Kabangu – DRC
- Vice Chairman: East Africa: Mr. Leonard Okoth – Kenya
- Vice Chairman: North Africa: Mr. Habib Bchir – Tunisia
- Vice Chairman: Southern Africa: Ms. Nelly Nsefu – Zambia
- Vice Chairman: West Africa: Ms. Harriet Karikari – Ghana
- Recent Past Chairman: Mr. Eric Yankah – Ghana
- South Africa, Morocco and Nigeria will represent Large AFIIA Affiliates in Africa.
