Greetings Delegates and Internal Audit Leaders from Africa

Here are the results of the Elections held during the AFIIA Annual General Meeting this afternoon

The following Officers been duly elected to the AFIIA Governing Council for the period 2021-2023
• Chairman: Emmanuel Johannes, IIA Tanzania
• Treasurer: Ruth Doreen Nseko, IIA Uganda
• VC North Africa: Habib BCHIR, IIA Tunisia
• VC East Africa: David Wagacha, IIA Kenya
• VC Central Africa: Claude Nzau-a-Nzau, IIA Congo DRC
• VC West Africa: Daniel Quampah, IIA Ghana
• VC Southern Africa: Thokozile Kuwali, IIA Malawi

In line with the AFIIA Constitution, the following Affiliates have also been seated as full Voting Members of AFIIA, being the three largest Affiliates. They are expected to name their representatives within seven days of the AGM.
• IIA South Africa
• IIA Nigeria
• IIA Morocco

The President of IIA Tanzania which is the hosting the AFIIA Secretariat, shall assume duty as the Executive Secretary of AFIIA with full voting rights. Enna Victor is the current President. She will be supported in this role by the CEO of IIA Tanzania.
